Archipelago sea, Finland 2020

This photo is linked to a core memory. Me and a friend were sleeping outside on a small lighthouse island a warm summer night. We could hear seals sleeping on some rocks nearby throughout the night. In the morning we woke early with the sunrise and decided to swim out to the small rocks where the seals were. I took my camera with me (wich isn’t waterproof) and swam a couple of hundred meters to the seals. The seals weren’t bothered and the sealpups even started to play ”hide and seek” with us out in the open. I snapped this photo when one of the sealpups popped up behind me and then proceeded to hide again below the surface to pop up somewhere else. This is whiteout a doubt a memory I hold dear.
